The Sudanese American Association in south Florida (SAASF) on its recent form was established to serve the Sudanese community of the South Florida region as Florida Domestic Non-Profit Corporation on February 3, 2012. SAASF is Active as social and cultural, non-political, non-religious, since then, but before this formal establishment in 2012 the community was served informally and the history of this goes goes back since 1995.

SAASF within its recent profiles perform a social duties to provide the Sudanese community with a forum to gather socially, providing support where needed, SAASF cultural mission includes Organizing cultural events and festivals, including traditional Arts, SAASF also perform an Educational mission includes educating the community’s American-born children the Sudanese culture, Folklore, and their Home language and dialogue, and providing the community with learning opportunities to help them better be engaged citizens.SAASF Also aims to foster understanding with the larger American public by participating in cultural events and outreach around the South Florida
